Some websites have been trying to fight back against the adblocker movement with anti-adblock detection scripts. These scripts can block the user who is using an adblocker from accessing content on the site, or they can show them a message asking them to disable their adblocker if they want to continue reading.

This type of script is not very effective because it does not solve the problem of people who don't want to see ads. It also creates a bad experience for users and makes them feel like they are being punished for wanting to browse in peace.
